Korea Energy Agency (KEA) to Visit DSSLR’ Cikabayan Field Station

A delegate of three from the Korea Energy Agency (KEA), led by its executive director, Dr. Joo Myeong-seon (far right), visited DSSLR’ Cikabayan Field Stations, 5 December 2023. They were accompanied by two Envelops engineers, who are responsible for constructing charging stations for electric vehicles, all supported by KEA. Initial construction will begin around 11 December 2023. Meanwhile, to support this initiative, DSSLR with the aid of the IPB’s Director of Infrastructure, prepares temporary storage for the devices. Agricultural fields behind the signage are selected for the construction of the first IPB’s Agri-PhotoVoltaic (APV) systems, capable of delivering 50 KW while allowing plants to grow under the panels. The system is designed to support climate smart agriculture initiatives and educational programs at the department and the Faculty of Agriculture, IPB.
