Profile:

This research group studies soil chemical phenomena to explore the potential of soil as a medium for growing various types of vegetation. It also formulates sustainable management techniques, including environmental aspects and plant nutrition, for the betterment of human welfare..

Mandate of the Division:

The development of soil chemistry and fertility sciences, as well as plant nutrition, through research, teaching, and its application in land resource utilization and management.

Scope:

All activities related to the development of soil chemistry and fertility sciences, as well as plant nutrition; the application of soil chemistry and fertility sciences in land resource utilization and management; evaluation of nutrient status, development of fertilizer technology and fertilization recommendations, as well as efforts in land reclamation and rehabilitation, and remediation of contaminated soil.

Focus of the Division:

The division focuses on studying soil chemical phenomena to explore the potential of soil as a growth medium for various vegetations, as well as formulating sustainable management techniques including environmental aspects and plant nutrition, for human welfare.
