Mission
  1. To develop human resources with expertise in science, technology, and sustainable regional planning management.
  2. To advance the science of regional planning in support of sustainable regional resource management.
  3. To develop new concepts and methods of future regional planning based on measurable, balanced, environmentally friendly, and participatory approaches.
Objectives
  1. To produce graduates who are professional and possess high integrity in the field of regional planning, upholding the values of ethics, religiosity, humanity, law, and diversity, and who are responsible for sustainable development.
  2. To develop regional planning science and technology through research, teaching, and community service based on regional resources and interdisciplinary approaches to address current and future development challenges.
  3. To enhance institutional and individual capacity in regional planning and management processes that are scientific, adaptive, participatory, and sustainable by utilizing spatial data and the latest technologies.
  4. To encourage innovations in regional planning concepts and methods that are balanced, measurable, environmentally friendly, and participatory through cross-sectoral collaboration and academic networking.
Targets
  1. The achievement of graduates with competencies as bureaucrats, professionals, or academics in the field of regional planning, with the ability to design, implement, and evaluate regional development plans and policies.
  2. The consistent publication of research-based scientific works in national and international scientific forums relevant to the development of regional planning science.
  3. The establishment of collaborative networks among academics, practitioners, and stakeholders to support innovation in sustainable regional planning policies and practices.
  4. The availability of planning methods, approaches, and tools based on spatial data, the latest technologies, and the integration of quantitative and qualitative approaches.
  5. The implementation of educational and community service programs that address regional development needs and raise public awareness about the importance of sustainable regional planning.
Graduate Profile
  1. Bureaucrats in Regional Planning
    Design planning processes, formulate, implement, and evaluate spatial and regional development plans and policies within the scope of government.
  2. Professional Regional Planners
    Design and develop integrative and sustainable regional development plans using interdisciplinary approaches and spatial data, as well as advocate public planning processes to both government and society.
  3. Academics in Regional Planning
    Conduct research, advance knowledge, and provide teaching in the field of regional planning to develop procedures and approaches for planning processes, and to foster innovation and scientific progress.
