Where Teaching Meets Innovation
The Agri-Photovoltaic Research Station was first established in October 2024, a testament to a budding collaboration between IPB University, Korea East – West Power, ENVELOPS, and KLES. The facility endorses IPB’s Food – Energy – Water (FEW) Nexus to promote a modern, sustainable agriculture. This innovation hopes to generate renewable energy that supports Smart Greenhouses, Ameliorant Plant, E – Mobility Charging Stations and Water Treatment Facility, as well as prompt research that fuse technology and agriculture.
There is more to Agriculture than meets the eye. The facility introduces a brand new image for Agriculture. Agriculture is, therefore, not limited to sowing and harvesting crops, but also about making them sustainable. Students are able to explore the future where technology and agriculture meets.
The future demands more than Agriculture – it necessitates collaboration with various parties across IPB University. We believe that the partnership will generate innovations that are beneficial for future generations.
