DSSLR held a talk show on mental health attended by students, lecturers and staffs. The talks was entitled “From stress to strenght: building resilience”
On Saturday, 24 August 2024 DSSLR held a talk show on mental health attended by students, lecturers and staffs. The talks was entitled “From stress to strenght: building resilience” with the keynote speaker Annisa Rahmawati, MPsi. The event was started with physical exercise in the IPB Gymnasium which attracted enthusiasm of students. Parties suggest to have this event periodic, to release stresses.
DSSLR gathers to refresh the importance of Outcome-based Education
At Papyrus Hotel, Bogor, 5 August 2024, DSSLR lecturers attend a meeting discussing the design and implementation of Case-based Learning (CBL), Project-based Learning (PjBL) and Problem-based Learning (PBL). External insights have been given by Prof. Feri Kusnandar of the Department of Food Science and Technology, IPB and Prof. Ardi Findyartini of Faculty of Medicine, the University of Indonesia. Discussion is led by Prof. Suria Tarigan.
DSSLR to host public lecture by Prof. Hitoshi Shinjo from Kyoto University, Japan
IPB has been mandated to establish the Inter-University Center of Excellence (IUCE) on Food Security. As a part of the IUCE activities, on Friday 19 July 2024, DSSLR organized two lectures delivered by prominent scholar, Prof Hitoshi Shinjo from Kyoto University, Japan. The first lecture was about “The impact of agriculture practices on GHG emissions”. In the afternoon session, he delivered a talk about “Interaction between urban and rural livelihoods”. The lectures were attended by some faculty members, doctoral, masters and undergraduate students.
